Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder

Poor Question:
Is Beauty is in the eyes of the Beholder?

Better Question:
Who do you want to behold you?
Who do you behold?

"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful"

1 Peter 3
Peter the Apostle, Bible

How do you yourself define beauty, Joel?

Is it really like how you have written? :)

I think ( I just think ) that we all humans start with a pretty superficial taste of beauty, running after things that are popular, instantly gratifying...even if they could taste really bad afterwards

But... BUT...

We all need a new taste for beauty. Its something like a new tongue that likes new things. Like some tongue that loves the taste of "nutrition", instead of MSG

and God slowly changes that - It has taken ...um... years that God has changed me from SUPER-superficial to superficial... if this trend goes on, I should be NOT-SO superfical when I die... and Perfect when I get to heaven.

Anyway, that was just some notes from the Bible Study.

The challenges to the guys was: Who do you behold? (Pretty much a challenge to be... godly and appreciate godliness)

Challenge to the girls ... that was a bit complicated. Because it is really... who do you want to attract?
